How a surveillance engagement works.
Consultation & Feasibility
We discuss what surveillance can and can't produce in your matter. Not every case calls for surveillance. We'll tell you if it doesn't.
Surveillance Plan
We build a plan: what to observe, where, when, with how many operatives, and what documentation is needed.
Deployment
We conduct the surveillance — discreetly, lawfully, and with attention to the environment.
Documentation
Activities are documented in real time with timestamped notes, video, and photographs.
Analysis
We analyze what was observed — patterns, gaps, and what it means for the case.
Reporting & Delivery
We deliver clear, defensible reports and evidence organized for case use.
Frequently asked.
Is surveillance legal in Washington?
Yes, when conducted within the bounds of the law. We do not conduct surveillance that violates Washington's privacy statutes, trespass laws, or federal protections. What's lawful depends on the location, the subject, and the purpose. We assess legality during planning.
How long does surveillance take?
It depends. Some matters need a few hours. Others need multiple days or weeks to develop patterns. We discuss realistic timelines during the consultation — and we won't recommend more surveillance than the case requires.
Can you guarantee surveillance will produce results?
No. Anyone who guarantees surveillance results is either lying or cutting corners. We can guarantee that the surveillance will be lawful, professional, and well-documented. What it produces depends on what the subject actually does.
Do you use GPS tracking?
Only when lawful and appropriate. GPS tracking is heavily regulated in Washington. We assess whether it's legal and necessary during planning — and we don't use it when it isn't.
How discreet is the surveillance?
Discretion is the foundation of the work. We don't draw attention, we don't approach the subject, and we don't create situations that compromise the observation. How we stay discreet depends on the environment and the subject.
