Domestic Violence & Coercive Control Advocacy

Support involving abuse patterns, coercive control, stalking, safety concerns, documentation, and system navigation. We understand that abuse is rarely a single event, and that the most dangerous dynamics are often the least visible.

Important: Advocacy provides support, information, and preparation — not legal advice. Six Echoes LLC is not a law firm and does not provide legal counsel. If you're in immediate danger, call 911.

Overview

Abuse is rarely a single event.

Domestic violence and coercive control advocacy is about helping people in relationships or situations where the harm is ongoing, patterned, and often invisible to everyone outside it.

Coercive control is the web of tactics — isolation, monitoring, financial control, threats, humiliation, and the slow erosion of someone's independence — that keeps a person trapped without a single obvious "incident." We understand that the most dangerous dynamics are often the least visible.

Each capability below can be engaged individually or combined. The approach is shaped by the actual dynamics of the relationship and what's safe.

02

Documentation Strategy

Building a record of incidents, patterns, and control tactics that holds up if it's ever needed.

03

Safety Planning

Planning that accounts for the actual dynamics of the relationship — including the most dangerous periods.

FAQ

Frequently asked.

Q01

Do I have to be ready to leave to work with you?

No. Many people aren't ready, aren't sure, or can't leave yet. We meet you where you are and work with what's possible.

Q02

What if there's no physical violence?

Abuse doesn't require physical violence to be real or dangerous. Coercive control, threats, and isolation are harmful and are taken seriously here.

Q03

Can you help with a protection order?

We can help you understand, prepare for, and navigate the protection-order process. We don't provide legal advice or representation — an attorney does that.

Q04

Is talking to you safe?

We hold what you share with discretion and discuss safety and confidentiality at the start. We also help you think through how to communicate safely if you're being monitored.

Q05

What if I'm worried about being tracked?

Technology safety is part of the work. We address monitoring, shared accounts, and devices — and help you communicate in ways that don't increase risk.
