Crime victim advocacy is about helping a person understand what just happened to them, what comes next, and what's actually available — without being rushed, talked down to, or handed a phone number and sent on their way.

We work with people in the aftermath of crime and violence — assault, stalking, threats, break-ins, domestic violence, family violence, and cases the system has been slow to address. We help make the situation legible.

Do I need a police report to work with you?

No. Some people come to us before, during, or after involving law enforcement. We meet you wherever you are in the process.

Q02

Can you be my advocate with the police or prosecutor?

We can help you understand and navigate those systems and prepare for interactions with them. We're not attorneys and don't represent you legally, but we can support you through the process.

Q03

I was a victim but nothing happened with my case. Can you still help?

Yes. Many cases stall or go nowhere in the system. That doesn't mean your situation doesn't matter or that there's nothing to do. We start from where things actually stand.

Is this confidential?

We hold what you share with care and discretion. We discuss confidentiality and its limits clearly at the start.

What if I'm in danger right now?

If you're in immediate danger, call 911. For ongoing safety concerns, we help with safety planning — but acute emergencies belong with emergency services first.
